Queens, NY (1/12/10) - A Queens gym teacher who was seen on MTV punching a female cast member of the reality show "Jersey Shore" is being fired from his job.

Department of Education sources say they are in the process of firing  24-year-old Brad Ferro.

Ferro, a teacher at North Queens Community High School, was arrested in August for punching out Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, after stealing shots from her and her friends at a New Jersey bar.

He was later found guilty of assault charges fined $500 and told he had to go to anger management classes.
