Story:

Bronx, NY (1/26/10) - According to a new survey, the areas with the highest hunger rates in the country can be found in NYC.

District 16, which is Morrisania, Mott Haven and Bedford Park in the Bronx, has the most hungry people in the USA. That means that 1 out of every 3 people in the South Bronx cannot afford to put food on the table.

District 10, in Brooklyn, is number 6 on the hungry list.

The survey found that 17% of all New York state households did not have enough money to buy food.
