Story:
Connecticut (1/23/11) - The woman who is believed to have kidnapped a baby from a Manhattan hospital more than two decades ago turned herself in to police Sunday in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Ann Pettway is expected to appear in Manhattan federal court Monday to face federal kidnapping charges.

The family of the baby, now all grown up, believe Pettway took newborn Carlina White from Harlem Hospital 23 years ago.

Pettway had been on parole for attempted embezzlement in North Carolina.

White was reunited with her biological parents earlier this week.

She was raised in Connecticut as Nejdra Nance but became suspicious when she couldn't find a birth certificate or social security card.

Her biological mother received the paperwork confirming the DNA match from the New York City Police Department on Friday.
