Story:
Queens (1/18/2011) - Police in Queens are investigating a stabbing that sent a 16-year-old boy to the hospital Tuesday.
It happened in front of a Subway restaurant near 75th Avenue and Parsons Boulevard in Kew Gardens Hills.
Police sources say 15 to 20 high school students were involved in a fight that spilled out to the street.
"Chairs were being thrown out. My boss' car was parked here. Mine is here. I came outside to see what was the cause of that. I just thought it was just kids goofing off. But, by the time everybody stopped running, one kids fell down over there in the snow and was bleeding over there," said one witness.
The Department of Education tells NY1 the victim is a student at John Bowne High School.
He was taken to New York Hospital Queens.
His injuries are not life-threatening.
