Story:
New York, JFK Airport - Six taxi dispatchers were arrested Monday for messing with the cab selection process at JFK airport. The dispatchers took small cash bribes, up to $10, to let drivers skip the holding area that taxis have to to wait in -- sometimes for hours before they get to pick up arriving passengers.
The six are charged with multiple counts, including commercial bribe receiving.
They face up to two years in jail.
The investigation began in May when several drivers snitched to The Taxi and Limousine Commission.
Investigators spent months undercover.
The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
Officials say the alleged scheme did not affect the actual amount passengers paid.
